    A. Finance General Assistant (VPF GA)

    1. Provide support to the Finance Officer by maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.

    2. Assist in organizing and archiving financial documents for easy retrieval.

    3. Help track and record funds raised during fundraising events.

    4. Collaborate with finance officers of standing committees to ensure proper financial record-keeping.

    5. Assist in preparing and presenting quarterly financial statements and budget proposals.

     B. Finance Fundraising Assistant (VPF FA)

    1. Assist in organizing and managing fundraising campaigns and events.

    2. Ensure all donations and sponsorships are properly recorded and allocated.

    3. Help create sponsorship proposals in line with MSAKE's fundraising goals.

    4. Work with finance officers of standing committees to track the financial performance of fundraising activities.

    5. Assist in preparing reports detailing the success of fundraising events.

     C. Capacity Building Development Assistant and  Coordinators (VPF RA CBDAC, VPF RB CBDAC and, VPF RC CBDAC)

    1. Help implement regional fundraising strategies in line with MSAKE's financial goals.

    2. Assist in reviewing and ensuring proper budgeting for regional events and projects.

    3. Collaborate with finance officers of standing committees to review regional event budgets.

    4. Provide regular financial reports on regional income, expenditures, and fundraising efforts.

    5. Ensure all regional financial transactions comply with MSAKE’s policies and maintain proper documentation

    D. Public Relations and Communication Assistant (VPF PRCA)

    1. Assist in designing and creating engaging graphic materials for financial reports and fundraising campaigns.

    2. Work with the Finance Officer to produce visual content that supports MSAKE’s financial transparency and accountability.

    3. Develop graphic designs for sponsorship proposals, annual reports, and other fundraising materials.

    4. Coordinate with finance officers from standing committees to ensure financial information is accurately and creatively communicated to members

    1. General Assistant (SCOPE GA)

    Overall Role: Supports the NOPE and national team in operational tasks to ensure smooth running of SCOPE activities. The roles include administrative, logistical, coordination, communication, feedback and monitoring.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administrative support. Assist in planning and coordinating national SCOPE meetings, events, and workshops.

    • Managing documentation, databases and records for incoming and outgoing exchange students.

    • Logistics coordination for events, capacity building, accommodation and local activities for incomings.

    • Support communication between the regional coordinators, LEO and members to enhance collaboration.

    • Help with monitoring and feedback to improve the exchange experience.

    • Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the exchange, including cultural or logistical challenges.

    • Support planning and execution of events and workshops.

    • Perform any other duties assigned by the NOPE or relevant team members.


    1. Incomings Coordinator ( SCOPE IC)


    Overall roles: Manages pre-arrival coordination, orientation, support, monitoring to enhance a seamless experience for incoming exchange students.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensure communication with incoming students in regards to necessary documentation and the process prior to arrival.

    • Prepare and maintain records for the SCOPE team.

    • Support with coordination of placements (institutions and hospitals) and accommodation for all incomings.

    • Organize orientation, welcoming and informational sessions to well adapt incomings.

    • Person of contact to provide support during the exchange and monitor well-being of incomings.

    • Organize social, cultural and academic events to enhance the exchange experience.

    • Carry out a post exchange follow-up for feedback and necessary documentation.


    1. Outgoings Coordinator (SCOPE OC)

    Overall roles: Provide support on the application process, pre-departure training, support, feedback and monitoring post-exchange.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Prepare application calls for SCOPE exchanges.

    • Conduct pre-SCOPE exchange calls information session to enhance successful applications.

    • Act as the liaison officer to provide support during the application process including forms, visas, other necessary documents and deadlines.

    • Review applications to ensure criteria for partner institutions met.

    • Conduct pre-departure training sessions.

    • Ensure communication with outgoings in collaboration with the host SCOPE team, supervisors and programme coordinators during the exchange.

    • Engaging with the return students for feedback and post-exchange experience.


    1. Capacity Building Development Assistant and  Coordinator (SCOPE RA CBDAC, SCOPE RB CBDAC and, SCOPE RC CBDAC).

      1 from each region: Region A-(
      SCOPE RA CBDAC), Region B- (SCOPE RB CBDAC), Region C (SCOPE RC CBDAC)

    Note: Local officers encouraged to apply for this role.

    Overall Role: Supports the coordination and implementation of SCOPE activities within the regions, ensuring effective communication and engagement among LEOs.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Act as a bridge between the NOPE and LEOs within the assigned region.

    • Assist in coordination of inter-regional exchanges between local chapters including accommodation, placements and cultural activities.

    • Work in collaboration with incomings coordinator to support incomings.

    • Assist in organizing regional meetings, training, activities and collaborative projects.

    • Ensure that LEOs receive guidance and resources to implement SCOPE initiatives within the region.

    • Track engagement and activity levels of LEOs and report to the NOPE.

    • Collect feedback on problems affecting implementation and report.


    1. Finance Assistant (SCOPE FA)

    Overall role: Plan, acquisition and  manage finances for the SC in collaboration with the Finance Officer MSAKE.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensure acquisition and management of funds for the incoming and outgoing exchanges.

    • Collaborate in activity planning to ensure smooth running and execution of activities.

    • Oversee funding, financial reporting and acquisition of funds.

    • Ensure transparency and accountability in SCOPE'S financial transactions.

    • Assist in allocating financial resources efficiently for projects.

    • Develop fundraising strategies and explore revenue-generating opportunities.


    1. Publicity team

    (a.) Publicity Assistant-Graphics Design (SCOPE PAGD)

    Overall role: Enhances the impact and visibility of SCOPE initiative's by creating compelling and professional visual content.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Design promotional materials such as posters, banners, infographics, and social media graphics.

    • Develop visually appealing reports, presentations, and educational materials.

    • Compile and edit the SCOPE newsletter.

    • Maintain brand consistency across all SCOPE designs and communications.

    • Collaborate with the Publicity Assistant publications to create engaging digital content.

    • Assist in visually documenting SCOPE events and initiatives.




    (b.) Publicity Assistant- Publications and Content Creation (SCOPE PAPCC)

    Overall Role: Enhances the visibility and reach of SCOPE by managing strategic communication, media engagement, and outreach efforts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing SCOPE’s social media platforms and digital presence.

    • Develop engaging content to promote events, initiatives, and key exchange programs including info sessions.

    • Collaborate with medical faculties, mental health professionals, and stakeholders to enhance mental health education and support systems.

    • Ensure alignment with SCOMH’s strategic objectives and national mental health policies.

    • Monitor and assess the impact of mental health initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.

    • Support LOs in implementing mental health advocacy and education programs at the local level.


    1. Finance Assistant (SCOMH FA)

    Overall Role

    Responsible for financial management, budgeting, and accounting to ensure the efficient and transparent utilization of financial resources. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, monitor, and manage budgets in line with SCOMH objectives.

    • Prepare grant proposals, donor reports, and impact summaries to secure and sustain funding.

    • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the timely preparation of financial statements.

    • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

    • Oversee the proper allocation, management, and reporting of donor funds and grants.


    1. Capacity Building Development Assistant and  Coordinator (SCOMH RA CBDAC, SCOMH RB CBDAC and, SCOMH RC CBDAC).
      1 from each region: Region A-(SCOMHRA CBDAC), Region B- (NSCOMH RB CBDAC), Region C (SCOMH RC CBDAC)

    Overall Role:

    Facilitate the coordination and execution of SCOMH activities within designated regions, ensuring seamless communication and active engagement among LOs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary link between the NOMH and LOs in the assigned region.

    • Oversee and support the implementation of SCOMH initiatives at the regional level.

    • Assist in planning and coordinating regional meetings, trainings, and collaborative projects.

    • Provide LOs with guidance, resources, and support to enhance mental health advocacy and education.

    • Monitor LOs' participation and activity levels, reporting progress to the NOMH.

    • Identify regional challenges in mental health advocacy and propose effective solutions.

    1. External Affairs Assistant (SCOMH EAA)

    Overall Role: Supports the NOMH in managing external relations, partnerships, and advocacy efforts to enhance SCOMH’s reach and impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain collaborations with key stakeholders, including universities, hospitals, NGOs, and government bodies.

    • Assist in advocacy initiatives for policy reforms and curriculum enhancements related to mental health education.

    • Represent SCOMH in external meetings, conferences, and networking events as assigned.

    • Support fundraising and sponsorship efforts for SCOMH programs and events.

    • Facilitate effective communication between SCOMH and external partners.

    4. Collaborate with other IFMSA committees for interdisciplinary projects.

    1. General Assistant (SCORA GA)
    - Supports SCORA with administrative and logistical tasks by organizing and maintaining the SCORA Committee files and documents as well as aiding in the preparation of reports.
    - Helps in organizing meetings, taking minutes and following up on action points to be followed up on.
    - He/she ensures all members are informed of meeting dates and the logistics are in order i.e Google meet setups
    - Assists different Local Officers in carrying out their responsibilities as well as bridging communication between the Regional Coordinators and the LOs.
    - Liases with external organizations, donors and partners to coordinate initiatives and joint efforts.
    - Supports the committee in gathering relevant data, research studies and evidence related to SRHR.
    - Assists with compiling reports on emerging trends, public health data as well as global issues related to SRHR.


    2. Finance Assistant (SCORA FA)
    - Works with the National Subcommittee to prepare annual budgets for specific  SCORA projects and operational costs.
    - Budget monitoring by tracking the actual spending against the budget on a quarterly basis.
    - Keeps financial records, tracks expenses and ensures transparency in fund allocation by relaying feedback to the committee on any variances or adjustments to be made.
    - Looks for sponsorship opportunities and funding sources for SCORA initiatives to be able to raise funds for various projects and initiatives to be run during the year e.g Pad drives.
    - Prepares quarterly and annual financial reports and submits them to the National Officer and committee members to be reviewed.
    - Provide training or guidance to the committee members on financial tools as well as best practices to keep SCORA running.


    3.  Publicity Assistant- Graphics Designer (SCORA PAGD)

    - Designs promotional materials such as posters, brochures and social media content.
